Siem Reap, Cambodia – Angkor University (AU) extended a warm welcome to the U-18 Chess Champion of 2025 from Korea, Mr. Junhyun CHUN, during his visit to the university.
The welcoming ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Prof. (Hon.) Dr. SOK Tonh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Angkor University. The meeting celebrated both academic exchange and the spirit of global sportsmanship.
During the visit, Mr. Junhyun CHUN demonstrated his commitment to supporting intellectual development by generously donating 100 chess sets to Angkor University. This donation will significantly bolster the university's resources for extracurricular activities, encouraging students to engage in the strategic challenges of chess and enhance their critical thinking skills.
