Workshop on Opportunity to Receive the Budget "Research for Development” from the Research Creativity and Innovation Fund”

Angkor University (A.U.) organized the workshop on Opportunity to Receive the Budget "Research for Development” from the Research Creativity and Innovation Fund under the presidency of H.E. Sann Vathana, Ph.D., Under Secretary of State the Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth. 346 participants, beyond the administrative team as rector, lecturers, and students of A.U., there are others who came from universities and high schools in Siem Reap city.

This workshop were focused on the following projects:
1. Eramus+
2. Huber-Curien Tonlesap River
3. Catalyst Budget
4. Center for Excellence
5. Study books
6. Material Model “Wishing”
7. Research for Development

H.E. presented the evidences of creativity and innovation by inspiring Cambodia's innovation in ancient times through the style of the Koh Ker temple, the creation of the first zero number, health, irrigation, education system, and Khmer literature through folks as well as the spacecraft idea. He also answered the questions and created the games to alert for innovative ideas.

After the workshop, the participants have a deeper understanding of innovative ideas, research projects for development, and procedures to implement the projects.
