On 11th January 2024, a group of Faculty of Humanities and Foreign Languages students at Angkor University had a opportunity to embark on a study tour to the Angkor Grace Residence & Wellness Resort. The purpose of the tour was to provide the students with an immersive experience in understanding the use of foreign languages in the tourism industry.
Throughout the tour, the students were able to learn about the challenges that arise when trying to communicate with guests who speak different languages and the importance of being able to convey information accurately and fluently.
The experience proved to be both enriching and insightful for all involved. The students gained valuable knowledge and skills that will undoubtedly be useful in their future careers in the hospitality and tourism industry.
