Mr. Hout Kongyou, Rector of Angkor University, recently represented the university at the International Francophonie Day 2024 event in Phnom Penh. The event was held under the theme “Innovation, promotion, and entrepreneurship through the French language” (Créer, innover, entreprendre en français) to emphasize the significant role of the French language in Cambodia. The event was organized in collaboration with development partners, including the French Embassy in Cambodia, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).
Angkor University has a wonderful opportunity to highlight its commitment to promoting the French language and nurturing entrepreneurship. This event provides a platform for the university to demonstrate its active involvement in these areas and to showcase its dedication to fostering language education and business innovation.
